*Virtual* Reducing Pesticide Use with Integrated Pest Management

  • Wednesday, April 3, 2024, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

Pesticides are tool used in our homes and gardens to control pest issues. Unfortunately they often have unintended consequences and can disrupt the natural systems that sustain us. Join us for this virtual program to learn how you can reduce your pesticide use with integrated pest management, a sensible approach to dealing with pests that protects human health and the environment while saving you money.

There will be an hour long lecture followed by 30 minutes for questions and answers presented by Susan Ndiaye, the Community Horticulture Educator and Master Gardener Volunteer Leader at Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County. Ms. Ndiaye has a Master’s Degree in Entomology and a passion for insects and adult education. She also loves working in her gardens growing beautiful flowers, delicious herbs, and scrumptious fruits and vegetables.

This program is sponsored by Sustainable Warwick.
